June Lake is my favorite place in the Eastern Sierras. Its first inhabitants were the Paiute Indians of the Mono Basin and to this day still keeps it’s small town charm.  It is beautiful year round, but my favorite time to visit is due the winter especially during a fresh snowfall. While skiing at the June Mountain resort you get breathtaking views of Mono Lake, June Lake a. D Gull Lake surrounded by majestic mountains covered with snow.
