SAILING LANAI
SAILING LANAI
This seascape features a warm Hawaiian sunset with a silhouette of a sailboat sailing the ‘Au’au Channel toward the island of Lanai. Also known as the Pineapple Island, Lanai is one of my favorite of the Hawaiian islands. ʻAuʻau channel is a whale-watching center in the Hawaiian Islands. Humpback whales migrate approximately 3,500 miles from Alaskan waters each autumn and spend the northern hemisphere winter months in the protected waters of the channel.
